The aim is to immerse you in the diverse food palate of India’s rich culinary heritage. Each region in India, puts forth flavors and nuances that are distinguishing characteristics of local fare. The exotic spices you'd expect to taste in Indian dishes are exactly those used most frequently: cinnamon, cardamom, curry, turmeric, coriander and fenugreek. Funkit classes will teach you how to use these and other herbs in the most flavorsome way.

 

If you're looking to learn dishes that are rooted in India's age old traditions yet adapted to today's kitchen and lifestyle, you wont be disappointed. Begin with an introduction to the wonderful world of spices, herbs and other ingredients used in Indian cooking, followed by a discussion on the philosophy of Indian food all the way through to experiencing live cooking of finger-licking dishes.
